Danske Bank is now looking for ambitious talents to join our Capital Markets, FI&C (Fixed Income and Currencies) and Sustainable Finance internship program in Helsinki. The spring internships last for 7 months starting in January 2020 and the autumn internships last for 5 months starting in August 2020.

As an Intern you will join our high-performing teams, assist other team members and play an important role in financial modelling, valuation, market research, ESG and preparation of analysis and presentation materials. You will gain understanding of the financial markets as well as the corporate and investment banking industry while developing analytical and communication skills. In addition, you will have an opportunity to visit other teams and build a valuable network within Danske Bank. The internship may also include a rotation between different teams.

Genuine passion for the banking business combined with relevant background
In addition to being a top academic performer, you are a minimum third year university student in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Strategy, Corporate Responsibility, Industrial or Environmental Engineering or Management. Furthermore, you should have a passion for the banking business and high work ambitions. Interest in securities, capital markets, sustainability and economics is expected.
As a person, you have excellent analytical and interpersonal skills. The personal characteristics that we value include eagerness and ability to learn new things, analytical frame of mind and good communication skills in both Finnish and English.
