First Year Analyst for FICC Finland
Are you a recent university graduate with a strong track record and international ambitions? And are you ready to kick-start your career in one of the largest banks in the Nordics?
In Danske Bank we are looking for an ambitious and motivated first-year analyst to join our team in Helsinki and help us become the most trusted financial partner in our market. We are part of the Corporate & Institutions Division of Danske Bank and we focus on Trading, Structuring and Sales of products within the fields of Foreign Exchange and Interest Rates.
Learn from the best in the business
As first-year analyst you start off by learning the trade with a year of rotations, after which you join one of the desks on our Trading Floor. Your first year is a unique opportunity to learn from the best in the business as you work across a number of asset classes and gain valuable experience in a number different fields. You will have a mentor from day one who supports your development and aims to give you a great start to your career in Danske Bank.
A team player with an analytical mind set
You most likely have an MSc in Business or Engineering, but your degree could well be within another field – what matters more is that you can demonstrate a strong academic track record combined with an analytical mind set and strong entrepreneurial drive. Previous experience from banking, or a similar sector, is an advantage but not a requirement.
It is important that you are a team player with an outgoing personality and excellent communication skills as you will be in touch with a number of different internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis. Fluency in English is a requirement as we operate in an international environment and proficiency in one of Nordic languages is an advantage.
In a competitive market such as ours things can get hectic from time to time – that is why it is important that you are able to perform well under stress and have a strong desire to excel and deliver.
Start date and application deadline
The candidate will start the programme early fall 2018 and application deadline is Sunday February 11th.
